Actually, When The Butcher(s) Sing
You can tell a lot about a person by how they handle different situations in life. When we purchased the meat plant from Cal Linford this past summer, he could have just walked away and let us struggle. But some folks are made a bit different from the rest of us. Cal has been there to answer every call, text, and question (day and night) that we have sent him on a daily basis and he has been helping us ever since we took over the business. He was there to help us catch up during wild game season and repair all sorts of critical breakdowns. You can hang your hat on that type of pride and commitment! Thank you Cal.
Through the trials and tribulations we have become friends with Cal and his family. He and his daughter Alexa are now working with us. For this, we are thankful. They are both cool as the other side of the pillow. Cal is a country signing, song writing, guitar picking, classic Ford driving, home brew making, fly-fishing, and fly-tying type of guy that is just pleasure to be around. His dry sense-of-humor has helped Tylee and the crew make it through our first Fair and Hunting Seasons.

Alexa, is a chip off of the block. She is a decorated horse trainer, accomplished singer, and our best skinner. What other 18-year old girl can say that?!? Not only has she been impressing every hunter that brings their animals to us to process, working her tail off and motivating others, but she is also training our wild colt Smoke! We are so lucky to have her in our life also. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her winning The Voice someday! Blake will Turn ~ Trust me.
We wanted to say say thank you to both of them. Help us say Thank You by purchasing one the Linfords’ CD’s. You won’t be disappointed!
